The University of Giving is a charity that started this year to teach the power of charitable giving as well as philanthropy and leadership to high school students. The University of Giving launched a pilot partnership with Hudsonville Public Schools during the 2016-2017 school year. The experience was a great success and made a difference in the lives of students. The University of Giving is now seeking to expand partnerships with other local districts. The UGIVE program magic begins with a $6,500 donation from a donor or donors. Then it is up to the students to decide where the money is distributed.
